In a constant state of wonderment

Dear Lulu,
At 1 year and 4 months you are already a book worm! I love how you demand to have a book read to you every chance you get. You  love the rhymes of Dr. Seuss but you also love listening to "Ang mga kwento ni lola Basyang".

You are so into words that you surprised as all when we found out you had already memorized the 30 words we put up on tyour wall! You not only know how they sound, you also know what they mean!
Recently, one of my classmates,Pola, asked if she could assess you as part of the Developmental Psych course she was taking. We made sure it wasn't going to be stressful for you before we said yes.  More than anything, we were curious as to the level of your ability, actually. You continually amaze me with what you can do, what you can say and how interactive you are to your environment.
Although we promised we would never impose our expectations on you, which includes stress-inducing tests, we figured getting information about you would not hurt as long as we would not base our affection and regard for you on the results of any test you take.
Anyway, it seems that you were up for anything as usual. Even in a new and strange environment, you were undeterred in satisfying your curiosity. It seemed the performance lab heightened your natural inquisitiveness as you   went through the test and explored the room decorated with already-familiar images.
Tita Pola gave you gifts of appreciation which you certainly loved: a vintage Dr. Seuss book, a Disney Junior workbook and chocolates. All in a day's work. Lulubear!

I will be informed of the results next week. I  a bit excited because I already know you did well. Nevertheless, whatever the results may be, I am already proud of you.

You make me happy every single day we are together.  Ever since you entered out lives, there has been no dull day.

And truly, everyday is a Luluadventure day!
